Message Under the previous posts you had with Kyle you alluded to reliability a number of times. I have zero issue with that as reliability of ANY car at that HP level will be a concern. Clearly though, you seem to feel that there are particular nuiances of the Z motor that will make achieving 650 rwhp reliably a particular problem. I simply want you to come out with the information, not just mention cooling systems, rod bearings and poorly engineered exhaust manifolds (all of which have been addressed).

Perhaps the 'nay sayer' attitude I was picking up on struck a bad cord in me as that is a personal pet peeve of mine. It is 100X easier to say back and say 'no, it can't be done' than to actually have tried to accomplish something. I could have this project completed for two weeks and have the motor grenade on me. In my mind, that doesn't make you right and me wrong. That means I gave something a legitimate shot and it didn't work out; not that I participated in a failure of some sorts. Perspective is an amazing thing. As an interesting side note on this, in general, jobs that pay large salaries recruit with two issues in mind: 1). The ability and willingness to take risks and 2). The ability to make decisions.

I have no personal beef with you Rich. I simply do not like being told I won't be able to accomplish something without some pretty strong reasoning behind it.

I have always been a skeptic of those people without opinions. I'll add that I don't even think it is important to agree, as long as you know where the other person stands. At the very least here Rich, I have your opinion on the Z motor and you know how I feel about being told I can't accomplish something. We can agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I'll dig you out of the Round Rock show here in a few hours and we will put some resolution to this.

Bryan
